In charge of brand positioning, strategy and marketing for America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, a leading discount provider of eye examinations, eyeglasses and contact lenses across the United States.
Oversaw multi-million dollar budget. Grew retail brand from 111 stores to over 560. Growth included overall brand awareness, sales achievement, new market launches and new store openings.
Achieved positive comp store growth over the last 61 consecutive quarters through brand campaigns developed with agencies (creative, media, CRM) and in-house team. This included media plans, social strategy, new market planning, direct mail, print programs, store openings and store collateral.
Activated a multimillion dollar partnership agreement with Monster Jam through consumer touch points in national media, store level promotions and in-stadium events.
Researched and selected new advertising agency to launch category disruptive campaign in 2015. Managed agency through brand positioning and campaign development for the iconic owl campaign. Developed Phase I and Phase II of this successful campaign that delivered sales well above budget. The campaign included multiple media channels, television, radio, digital and CRM.
Achieved America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses brand awareness growth of 7% in the past year.
Spearheaded the development and launch of the corporate vision, mission and values for National Vision, Inc.
Managed public relations programs for the organization. These programs included general population campaigns, industry press and business journals. The goal was to raise awareness of the brand, and the overall corporation. Multi-channel PR campaign with comedian and urban talent Rickey Smiley included a satellite media tour, radio ANR, newswire press release and man-on-the-street videos for social media, and yielded more than 400 million impressions at a CPM of 50 cents.
